UPDATE: Rep. Andy Harris' Chief of Staff Supplies Underage Intern Booze But Keeps Job // The "Punishment" Is a Secret?

Yesterday, Maryland Juice wrote about former GOP operative Joe Steffen's wild accusations against Congressman Andy Harris. He wrote a blog post claiming that the Tea Party Republican's Chief of Staff bought booze for an underage intern's goodbye party, where she got drunk and was then kicked out of the program. Steffen further alleges that Harris' Chief of Staff tried to blame the incident on another aide, whose father happened to be a Baltimore Sun columnist. Oops!

If you heard about the story, you might be wondering what the ramifications are for Rep. Andy Harris and his Chief of Staff Kevin Reigrut. The Easton-based Star Democrat today reported on the following response:
Ryan Nawrocki, a spokesman for First District Congressman Andy Harris, said Tuesday that chief of staff Kevin Reigrut was disciplined but didn't specify what action was taken. He said Reigrut remains chief of staff to the Republican lawmaker.

So, the punishment is secret? And Kevin Reigrut is still Rep. Harris' Chief of Staff? Is this an imaginary punishment? I'm not the only one confused by Rep. Harris' response. The Baltimore-based blog Inside Charm City has been trying to get to the bottom of the story, too. After recounting conflicting statements coming from Rep. Harris' news coverage, they ask a simple question:

Was Reigrut disciplined or not?

Will Rep. Andy Harris set the record straight?
