WHITE HOUSE 2016: Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley Launches Federal PAC // Make Checks Payable to "O Say Can You See" PAC

Roll Call reports that Gov. Martin O'Malley has launched a new federal PAC. Presumably, the effort is in furtherance of his presumed 2016 White House bid, and will allow him to continue building his national presence (excerpt below):

ROLL CALL: Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley opened a federal political action committee this week, further fueling chatter that the second-term Democrat is eyeing future office.

O Say Can You See PAC will help federal candidates and two state ballot initiatives in the coming months, longtime O’Malley aide Rick Abbruzzese confirmed to Roll Call today.

“It’s a mechanism to help support these ballot initiatives and contribute to the national conversation,” Abbruzzese said.....

Martin Cadogan
O'MALLEY CAMPAIGN TREASURER TO SERVE AS PAC TREASURER: According to the Federal Election Commission filing for the PAC, the Treasurer will be Baltimore attorney Martin Cadogan. Mr. Cadogan's lawfirm website states:
"Since 1990, Mr. Cadogan has served as former-Mayor and current-Governor Martin O'Malley's Campaign Treasurer. As such, he has significant experience in the area of the State of Maryland Fair Campaign Financing Act. Mr. Cadogan has also served on the finance committee for then Baltimore City Council President and current Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake."
