HISTORY: MARYLAND HOUSE APPROVES MARRIAGE EQUALITY // ALL SYSTEMS GO FOR PASSAGE

UPDATE: Delegate Heather Mizeur reports the final tally was 71-67. The Washington Post reports that the House leadership has updated the vote tally to include an additional late vote. The official reported tally will be 72-67.

Maryland Juice is pleased to report that the MARYLAND HOUSE HAS APPROVED MARRIAGE EQUALITY. This is history, folks. The legislation passed the State Senate last year, so this looks like it'll finally head to Governor O'Malley's desk for a long overdue signature.
