PRESS RELEASE

New Delaney Campaign Ads Highlight President Clinton’s Endorsement
Ads Set Record Straight on Garagiola’s Misleading Negative Attacks

Democrat John Delaney has released three new advertisements highlighting the recent endorsement of President William Jefferson Clinton in the Sixth District race. All three ads also note that Delaney’s company was recently praised by President Obama’s Administration. Two new radio spots and a new television commercial are now running district-wide.

In endorsing Delaney, President Clinton noted that Delaney’s “commitment to equality, economic growth and fairness will make him an effective advocate for the middle class, a strong advocate for job creation, and a trusted ally for reform.”

On September 9, 2010, Delaney’s CapitalSource was honored by Obama Administration with the Bank Enterprise Award. The award praised Delaney’s business for community engagement and making a “tangible difference in the communities they serve.”

“We are deeply honored to have President Clinton’s support in this race,” said Campaign Manager Justin Schall. “Given Rob Garagiola’s barrage of nasty, false, and negative attacks, voters need to know the facts. The truth is, there’s a clear choice between Delaney, an economic leader who has been recognized for making a real difference, and Garagiola, a career lobbyist and politician.”
