A politically connected observer sent me some interesting new polling numbers showing that concern over Obama's re-election chances might be misplaced. A new Clarus poll roundup has Obama ahead in North Carolina and Colorado, beating all Republican challengers.
Maybe the Republican extremism will work about as well nationally, as it will in Maryland.
