FIRST BATCH OF LAWNSIGNS SOLD OUT: A few months ago Maryland Juice (aka David Moon) decided to launch a messaging experiment to encourage Maryland's Obama voters to "vote for" marriage equality (Question 6) and the Dream Act (Question 4) in Maryland. I printed and distributed as many of the lawnsigns above as the FEC would allow as an independent expenditure, but I sold out of these signs soon after the recent Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina. Many thanks to the following groups/individuals for helping distribute these signs throughout MoCo, Baltimore and Prince George's counties: Progressive Cheverly, Del. Shane Robinson, Takoma Park Mayor Bruce Williams, Baltimore area LGBT activists, and many others. But in spite of our best efforts, the haters are rapidly distributing a boat-load of the nasty lawnsigns above.
SECOND BATCH OF LAWNSIGNS COMING SOON & ALMOST SOLD OUT: Thankfully, a high school friend of mine (and Bethesda-Chevy Chase area activist) Michael Sriqui is sponsoring another round of lawnsigns as his own independent expenditure. I'm told the signs will be arriving shortly, and already groups and elected officials are reserving these signs by the dozens.
